Cajamarca to promote attractions in Ecuador's tourism fair
Perú, andina.com.pe.- The provincial municipality of Cajamarca, central Andean region of Peru, will attend for the first time the International Tourism Fair in Ecuador (FITE) to take place from September 22 to 25. Local government official Juan Quispe mentioned that the delegation will be headed by the Provincial Mayor of Cajamarca, Ramiro Bardales.
“We’ll have a stand where tour operators from the participating countries will be provided with information and tourist material of our city.” Tourist attractions like the Baños del Inca thermal baths, Cumbe Mayo, Porcon farm, Windows of Otuzco, Ransom Room, colonial churches, among other places will be promoted.
“A couple of months ago we participated in the International Tourism Fair in Cusco and had great results since tourist inflow during national holidays increased,” Quispe said. This time “we want America to notice Cajamarca as tour operators from Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Brasil, and Paraguay will take part of the event.”
